FAQ
- The first thing to do when
considering a granite counter top for your home, is to
get a diagram of your kitchen, or bath, or whatever else
it is you want to use granite on. We can do this for no
charge, just ask.
- Pick the color, there are many
choices, we have 120 samples & 3 kitchens in our
Plaistow, NH. showroom. We take our clients to
Boston Granite, in Haverhill, MA. or to Greater
Boston Granite in Tewksbury, MA. to view the largest
selections of granite in our area, if we can't find it
there, we have several other distributors to try,
CBS Exotic in Winchester &
MS International in Braintree are both very good.
- Select sink type, & finish edge,
want something unique for your center island, this is
the time to talk about it, our big ogee edge has been a
recent success with many customers.
- At this time you will receive a
written estimate, based on color choice, & square
footage estimate. Final square footage will be
determined at the time of the template
- If all is agreed to, the next
step is the setting up a time to do a template, prior to
the template a payment of 50% is due. The template
appointment is when we come to your house to make a
diagram of the future counter top, & discuss all aspects
of the job, including seam location, if necessary.
- When we do the template, your old
counter does not need to be removed, we will measure for
your new counter with the old one in place. This is an
important time for the home owner to ask any questions,
and add input as to how your new counter will look. The
new sink needs to be selected at this time. Our template
process will save your kitchen being disrupted for the
usual 1-2 week time.
- One week after the template, your
new counter top will be installed. Upon completion
of the job our installers will treat your granite, with
DuPont Bulletproof sealer, we install your new sink ,
and drill the hole for you new faucet. we do not do any
plumbing work, we have several very good plumbers to
recommend. When the job is complete to our customers
satisfaction final payment is due.
